An EOR, or Employer of Record, is a service that enables firms to hire people in countries where they do not have a local presence.Establishing a local corporation in a foreign nation is both time-consuming and costly.

If a corporation is not willing to make a long-term commitment to developing a workforce in a specific country, an EOR is an excellent option for compliantly employing overseas without incurring the costs of establishing an entity.

What is the difference between an EOR and a PEO?
